Origins of the Prophetic Hadith

This course provides a cognitive foundation for understanding the science of Usul al-Hadith, its origins, terminology, and its relationship with the Shari'ah sciences, in addition to addressing the stages of codification of the Sunnah, the degrees of hadith in terms of acceptance and rejection, the science of men and their characteristics, and the methods of endurance and performance.
