This course offers an introductory journey into the Science of Quranic Readings (Qiraat)—its origins, historical development, and foundational principles. Students will learn key terms such as narration (Riwayah) and transmission path (Tariq), understand the essential conditions for an accepted reading, and become familiar with the major Quranic readers and their transmitters. The course also addresses common misconceptions and doubts related to this field.
