This course covers various topics in the sciences of the Quran, such as an introduction to the Quran and its sciences, the origins and development of these sciences, the virtues of the Quran, and a comparison between the Quran, Hadith Qudsi, and the Prophetic Hadith. It also addresses key sciences related to the Quran, including revelation and its method of descent, the compilation and writing of the Quran, the reasons for revelation, abrogation (Naskh), the distinctions between Meccan and Medinan verses, the seven modes of recitation, the miraculous nature of the Quran, interpretation (Tafsir) and explanation (Ta’wil), stories in the Quran, translation of the Quran, the impact of the Quran on human civilization, and a discussion of some of the controversies surrounding the Quran.
